Well...

Last night was completely crazy… I get home after D. has spent the whole day with J. to find out that he himself has become completely sick as well… Yuck… I hear my husband losing his lunch violently and that’s my sign to call my MIL tell her to get over immediately and tell him to get dressed… Dr. time Mister… He insists that he’s ok, but that green and very pale tint to his face tells me otherwise… besides I needed to go too… I was out of meds for my toothache… ah, how I love multi-tasking.

Anyway, so MIL shows up, we say our hello’s and goodbye’s and we’re off… so we’re driving along trying to figure out which urgent care to go to when we spot a hosts of fire trucks, ambulances, and sheriff deputies at a park… my first reaction was OMG, what happened… then we get closer to see everyone surrounding a tree… well… guess what… A boy got stuck in the tree… A teenage boy… stuck in the middle of a tree…

D was amused and I was worried, so we prayed, and drove on to the Dr.’s… Ok… so we’re at the doctor’s, they want to do the usual to D, Phenagren, IV, Bloodwork… All that jazz… we say no to the IV, yes to the Phenagren, and of course we want to know what’s wrong so we get the bloodwork too.

We spend about 2 and a half hours there… Go to drop off our prescriptions and guess what… Boy is still stuck in tree… so we go watch… The poor teenager… stuck in a damn tree for about what I’m guessing is 3 hours… Could you imagine? The mom was standing there, still and very silent… Watchful, and when they pulled him out she let out the biggest cheer! Her baby was ok… I was happy that everything was well… The city wouldn’t cut down the tree, it’s been there forever, with that hole, someone just finally fell in… now I wonder what they’re going to do about it?… probably nothing...
