Tomorrow

Mr. Big WILL BE HERE!!!! I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that he's going to be home... The countdown has begun and he'll be here in 24 hours!!!

The Babes will be over the moon thrilled to see their daddy!!! Thank you Jesus!

In other news Babe Girl had her 4 year old check up and Babe Boy his 15 month, they are both doing great! Honeygirl is in the 90th percentile for height... My baby is tall! lol

Aiden got 2 shots today, his first MMR. I refused to let him get them all at once so we just doubled up the MMR and Varicella (sp?) Anyway, shots make me nervous, then I was the one there with him today, as the nurse was giving him the shots he looked at me and screamed so hard... I felt so bad. :-(

I just pray that he has a good reaction to the MMR, I've been keeping my eye on him... so we'll see. That's all that's happening in the Big House today, Hope everyone is having a good week!

Wednesday

Today is Wednesday and so far I've

-Cleaned both of the babes rooms
-Went for a run
-Took the kids to the petting zoo
-Folded clothes and put them away
-Cleaned the playroom
-Rescued several DVD's from the hands of Babe Boy


And now I'm here. Tired, exhausted, and at my breaking point. I really need this job. Oh my how my children need to go to school...






Dear God,

If you're reading this please let Mr. B hire me. Immediately! Please oh please oh please! I'm a great person and I'd be really good at this particular job. I need this position really really really bad and I promise not to gossip, curse, and complain as much if you let me get it. Thanks...

Good Morning

I'm up, still waiting to see what's going to happen with said job from the previous post. I'm praying, sitting, waiting, wishing and hoping that I get this position. I don't think I've wanted or needed a job more in my life. LOL

Today is filled with laundry and cleaning of the upstairs living space. I am thrilled that this Friday Mr. Big will be home and we'll be a family again. These past couple of weeks have proved to be very trying... I've gotten through them with flying colors, I just wish I didn't have to be alone. Blah. I'm rambling and this post is starting to be a downer...

Babe Boy said I love you a few days ago and Goodnight! I was thrilled, he's been talking up a storm, I still can't understand half of what he says but there are some bonafide real words that come out sometimes too and that makes me happy when I hear them!

Wish me luck in my cleaning and care taking endeavors today... LOL

Lady in Waiting...

Okay, so on Saturday morning I had a interview and it went fantastic... Now, I'm just waiting. I hope that I get some good news by the middle of the week! I didn't want to blog about this, but I just couldn't hold it in any longer!

The company is awesome, the experience I would gain from this position is amazing, and I would actually like everyone that I work with. As it's a small company and everyone was there during the interview... Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers about this position, I definitely know I'm praying! HARD!

to introduce the newest member of our family. Here is our new Weimaraner puppy. His name is yet to be determined. This decision took a lot of prayer, research, and discussion. We're very happy with this choice we've made and can't wait to have him home to love on him!

T.G.I.F

Thank God it's Friday. I have 6 days left before Mr. Big returns home and I couldn't be happier. I am really in need of a good nights sleep. Last night I went to bed around 10:00 only to wake up at midnight with a daughter coughing up a lung. I give her medicine and some water, she goes back to sleep just fine. So 3:30 rolls around, I wake up to Babe Boy crying. OMG. I want to scream. LOL he's fussing because he wants a drink of milk. Fine. I give the boy some milk, he stays up and plays another hour. Finally sleep.

I'm tired this morning but I plan on going through both of their rooms today as they have tons of clothes that they have outgrown and I'd like to donate them to charity and take some to consignment shops. We'll see how far I get with that today.

I also have a few errands to run and I've got to go by a liquor store and also to a pawn shop to buy a gun... LOL j/k about the last part. I've made a conscious effort to minimize my drinking as it's gotten me in a lot of trouble these past few weeks. I got pulled over for drinking and I haven't had a drink since that night and I really haven't missed it.

I supposed a glass of wine and a bubble bath tonight wouldn't really hurt eh?

Job Interview / Conversations with a 4 year old

The job interview went really well. I like the company, the culture, and definitely the benefits. It's in my career field and pays pretty good. They hope to make a decision pretty quickly so fingers crossed. We've begin our goal to be debt free by the end of the year and that means I go back to work, which I don't mind since I could then justify paying daycare for Babe Girl and Boy.

In other news... as I was getting ready for the interview today I had both babes in the bathroom with me and here is the conversation that ensued...

Babe Girl: Mom, your weight machine is broken.

Me: No honey, my Scale, is not broken.

BG: Uh Huh, It says I weigh 30lbs and I only weigh 20.

Me: (Trying not to laugh while looking at the scale) No honey, you actually weigh more than 30 pounds. And that's OK.

BG: Fine... I still say it's broken and daddy will fix it when he gets home in 10 days.


I say okay, wait for her to leave, die laughing, and then replay the whole conversation for The Man while driving to my interview... kids say the darnedest things

Has run rampant in the Crazy House... Babe Girl started, passed it on to Babe Boy, and now mommy has it... Ugh, I totally wish I could just go into a Nyquil coma right now, but that would be good for no one, of that I'm sure.

I seriously can't wait for this stupid deployment to be over. It has been a real pain in my arse. Just sayin...

Vegetarian

My baby girl informed me today that she hates meat and thinks it's mean that we kill animals and eat them, and used their fur for stuff. She's freaking 4. OK.

Now that being said, I don't have the slightest idea to the vegetarian lifestyle so if anyone can help me to help my girl live the V life she has chosen please please do so. Thanks and wish me luck in this!

I'm actually surprised and sorta happy that she's made that decision for herself and at 4 no less to live a healthy lifestyle like that. Most people have to tie their 4 year old down to eat veggies and mine will do it voluntarily, Awesome right?

Tonight, I'm going out to dinner with a chick that I've become really good friends with up here. I'm sad, I'm really going to miss her, but I'm ready to go home.

You've been more than a friend in this short time, you've been like a sister and again I'll miss you!

2009 Challenge

The challenge is to 500/50, run 500 miles and read 50 books. I love reading and running so this is my kind of challenge! I'm very excited and hope to possibly reach both goals before October.

Easy Like Sunday

Today was a pretty relax day... despite a trip to the ER for mommy some medicine for her migraine, and even still I was in, out, and on my way... which made everyone happy.

We had lunch at Panera Bread, Babe Girl being the vegetarian that she is had soup and a salad, Babe Boy a grill cheese, and for me the turkey artichoke of course, The Man had Chicken Bacon Dijon which was delicious, I had a bite...

I went to the gym, worked on legs today, then ran a 1 1/2 miles. Speaking of running I've joined in on a really cool challenge and I'm pretty excited about it.

T-Minus 2 days before the trek back to Florida and I'm still not thrilled about it. I'm just thankful that we'll have the portable DVD and a crap ton on movies. Well that's about it for my Sunday and I'm hoping tomorrow will be just as laid back. My best friend will be making the journey to our house tomorrow.

I am a bit nervous about how the whole thing with her living with us will pan out, but I'm still happy to have her out of that situation... no matter what happens, I'm just glad she's going to be safe. Goodnight World.

Packing, Packing, and more Packing.

When will it end... I know we had a lot of stuff but Enough Already! I took a small break to go to the gym and I'm glad I did. I feel better, but I'm knee deep in packing yet again.

Is it bad that I thought that the packing fairies where going to magically have everything packed when I returned from the gym... LOL

National Freaking Champions!!!!

Looks like the 4th best quarterback in the country proved to be number 1 yet again by winning the BCS National Championship game against the Oklahoma Sooners! Congratulations Urban Meyer and The Florida Gators Football Team!!! I'm so proud of my boys!!! It's Great To Be A FLORIDA GATOR!!!!!!

packing sucks. I'm getting ready for our 13 hour drive back to the sunshine state and it's been pure exhausting. I'm thinking that I'd rather fly, but then with all the suitcases and Christmas presents driving is more feasible.

This my friends I'm completely not looking forward too at all! Seriously... I shudder at the thought. LOL

Rain Rain Go Away,

Little Babe Girl wants to play! As I sit here typing this, my eyes spy a beautiful scene... crashing waves, rain, wind, and thunder, with a nostalgic sesame street song playing in the background as the sound track to my midday.

I'm sitting here thinking about the New Year and all it has to offer me, the surprises, loves, pains, and memories it's to bring. I welcome everything this New Year has in store for me with open arms because I'm ready for an adventure. I can honestly say I've never been more ready to start living and being here. Present, in the moment.

So much is already going on this year and it's only been a week. One of my best girlfriend's is leaving her boyfriend and coming to stay with us for a bit. I'm excited for her and scared at the same time. He's been very abusive to her and in front of their son, it's a bad situation and if she doesn't do something now I very well believe that he would kill her. Yeah, that serious.

I'm preparing for that as well as my return home from VA, I'm trying to get everything set up so that I can start school when I return, getting things ready so Babe 1 can go to preschool and getting information about the Mom's Morning Out program from my church. The past 3 days have been really busy for me and I have a feeling it's going to be busy like this for the next couple of weeks. I enjoy the busyness though...

Anyway, I've rambled enough. I truly can't believe one whole week from the New Year is gone and we've only got 51 weeks remaining in 2009. I hope your first week of 09 has been an awesome one!

I've got a need for speed!

And now I'm paying for it. LOL Silly me thinking that it's cool to go 69 in a 45. The Officer who pulled me over obviously did not think it was cool. He proceeded to tell me how uncool that really was, then gave me a ticket with a court date on it... I did bat my eyelashes a time or two and it got me no where. Ha! I'm researching lawyers as I type this. I'm quite the multitasker now aren't I?!

Normally I would go to court and handle this on my own, but not this time, definitely not in this state, I am hiring a lawyer because I'm sickofVA and I want to go home, and I'm just not sure how something like that works in this state. Florida judicial system I know like the back of my hand. VA's judicial system... not so much.



PS. I know there will be concern, but the babes were not in the car with me during my mini Nascar race. I was alone and actually speeding because I was trying to get home to them as Babe 2 had gotten really sick and needed his mom...

Good Morning...

I am awake. It's 7:30, the Sgt just left for PT and Babe 2 is wide awake. This is a normal occurrence Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. What I don't understand is how 2 children can sleep in on Christmas morning and every day following that until about 10 or so, but the day that dad goes back to work we are back up at like 6:30. Unbelievable.

Workin on my fitness... God Bless Fergie for that song. Anyway, one of my resolutions was to work out more often, I had begun on that a few weeks before the New Year and I'm going to continue. I've lost over 55 pounds since Babe Boy was born and I'm recently on a quest to lose those last few pounds. I'm hoping to have lost it by my birthday which is in the middle of Feb.

The plan:

Some form of cardio 5x a week
Strength Train 3x a week
Continue to watch my portions. (I actually lost during the holiday's!)
And continue to use SparkPeople.com to count my calorie intake and adjust as necessary.
Take my vitamins... (I hate this one)LOL
Keep drinking 8 glasses of water a day... It really does do a body good!

I'm decided...

To start a physical journal as well. I've always been into writing and it's really been a good release for me, so I'm going to write. I'll still keep up here. I'm doing pretty good as this is day 3 of the New Year and I've written on all 3 days... LOL

I'm tired. Sgt T got me up at the butt crack of dawn to watch the sunrise, and although it was romantic and all, I really wanted to do nothing but go back to bed and sleep for at least 2 more hours... The kicker, both babes slept in until 10 this morning. I about died.

We went and did some shopping, he got a haircut, I got books and rented some movies, now I'm going to go curl up with a book, relax, and probably watch a movie later.

PS. I tried the Lime and Salt popcorn yesterday... Delish, and the house smelled like corona, which reminded me of being on a beach in Mexico, so it was a win win situation! LOL Happy Saturday!

I just want to be warm. It's freezing in VA right now and I am hating it! I want to be back in my warm sunny home state of Florida... Just sayin.
