Sometimes, I think it's great and then I have days like today where I am just so freaking tired... All I want to do is just lay in bed and relax. No sounds of children or the husband... just silence.
I am suffering from Super Woman Burnout. It doesn't happen often but when it does... It does. I wasn't sure if I was going to post this... I didn't want you to think I am complaining... I love my life, but sometimes you just get tired and need to take time to recharge.
Has anyone else felt like this? What do you do when you do?

PS. Today is the last day to enter my gardening giveaway!

I totally understand you, I love my life also, but sometimes all what I want is lay in bed, sleep, turn off the phone the laptop every connection with the outside world.

Yes, I get it! Unfortunately, I just have to keep rolling with the punches and just dream about that silence. Keep your head lady.
I felt like that last week. I wanted a week off from the world. This week I am doing better.
I have trouble with having to go places on Monday. That is my catch up day. I have been gone on Mondays for the last two weeks. My house shows it.
What do I do about it?
I try to visit a friend, which I did yesterday and now I feel better today. Sometimes my slump last a week or two. Oh and for got the most important thing is to pray everyday.
I need to remember to eat well. That helps alot.
Hope you feel better soon.

I have these days quite often as well, especially since we added the third child. Three kids, a dog and hubby are a lot of work along with all the other duties we have throughout the day. When I do have days like this I try to calmly make it through the day and as soon as hubby gets home I lock myself in my room. I take a long shower or a long bath to relax me.
When I get like that I go and rent a movie, get a yummy dessert and pig out as I sit on my couch and immerse myself in whatever movie I chose. It helps a lot!
Women are always taught to be super and to keep on moving. I think that it takes a real woman to realize when she is burn out and needs some me time.
Love the new look of the blog.
I have those days too. I also give hubby the kids when he gets home and just write a little. I find it calming. Or daydream about going to an all day spa pampering. :)
I blogged about this very thing a few days ago...

Go take a hot bath and paint your toenails! Always makes me feel better! :)
Even Super Woman needs a day off. Don't be too hard on yourself. Take some time and regroup.
