Playing with my emotions.
So the position I had a fit over...
The person they chose
declined the offer...
SHE DECLINED THE OFFER.

What happened next should have been a gimmie right?

That's not cool. It's weird that they did that.
Hmmm....typically you'd think a company would want to save time instead of waste time filling an open position. Unless there was a specific reason (maybe it's protocol), I just don't understand not giving or at least calling in their next top three in for additional interviews to fill the position.
Well, whatever their deal, good luck to you in your job search!
I remember you saying that jobs for spouses aren't usually typical. That's crazy to hear...why don't spouses get the same opportunities for work? (sorry, I'm not a military spouse or child - although my father was - so I am not up on understanding military logistics).
Wonder why they did that. I hope it all works out for you!
Claim your job!!!
So frustrating! I've been sorely dissapointed at this whole process, I still haven't found one and most people don't even send rejection letters anymore.
