I've been promising myself
that I would keep up
on this blog a lot better
than I've been doing...
I've been breaking promises to myself...
No more...
I am going to keep good
documentation of our time
here in the
Land of Not Quite Right (Thanks K.)
At least until we get our new orders,
Then I'll probably talk about how
awesome it is to be leaving...
Or not.
Who knows...
Hey. This is one of those random musings...
I bet you missed those.
I have.
I really have.
So...
On another note.
Went to play Bunco
in the
Lion's Den...
That was quite the experience.
Everyone would be chatting and laughing
having a grand ol' time until
I showed up at their table.
Then...
(insert cricket sound here)
Yep.
I was the butt of all their jokes.
It kind of mad me sad.
But then I realized that
those women
don't even know me.
They haven't had a conversation with me
and more than likely never will
while I'm on this island.
I guess I'll be that girl.
It doesn't bother me anymore.
I've made a few friends that
are pretty awesome.
I don't need to roll with the popular crowd.
I'm me.
Why does that last bit of this post seem like high school...
Oh wait.
That's where I am... :-/ 40 & 50'something year old women acting like children.
GET ME OUTTA HERE!

Ugh. The Land of Not Quite Right needs to grow up. Were they seriously talking about you? How freaking tacky!
I'm glad you've made some good friends out there. Start your own Bunco night and have fun :)
I can't stand adults who act like children. They need to grow up.
Sad to see adults act like middle schoolers (that's the age level I teach.) Thank goodness you don't have to depend on them for friendship.
That is a whole cheap beer can of trashy. Adults who can't grow up are so sad and pathetic.
