When they say good things come to those who wait
They surely mean it!
Not only did I get a job offer
and
not for the one I thought I wanted
Keyword here is thought
God is GOOD y'all!
Seriously GOOD!
I got 2 JOB OFFERS!!!!!!
Trusting God, Prayer
Being patient... Don't laugh
and
putting myself out there
i.e. networking my tail off
has paid off tremendously!
Now my trouble is
which position to choose.
Both have their perks
One pays more,
The other would probably give me the most satisfaction
but pays substantially less.
What would you do?
Work hard and get paid more
Work less and have more job satisfaction?
Help!
Now on to the fun.
Here is a sneak peek into
dinner convo
at the Sergeant House.
So we have spaghetti last night
and
knowing how messy both of my kids are
with spaghetti
I make them
take off their shirts
(The were still in school clothes)
Mr. Sergeant decides to join them
and take his shirt off too.
I did not.
(just in case you were wondering)
Anywho... Dinner is underway and we're eating...
The Artist - Daddy, um... why is your shirt off
Daddy - Because both you and the athlete aren't wearing shirts
The Artist - Daddy, you can put your shirt back on anytime now...
Me - laughing at this exchange of words
Daddy - Why is that Artist?
Artist - Because you have hairy nipples and the hair might get in your food. Plus it's really gross looking.
Me - Dying laughing now!
Daddy - (puts shirt back on) Wow... shakes his head and continues to eat.
Me - Still laughing.
My six-year old rocks! :-)

the things that come out of little a little kid's mouth are too funny!
Good luck picking a job—I say pick the one you'll be happier at. A pay cut sucks, but if you're not happy at the end of the day that will suck more!
congrats on the jobs! i say, pick the one that you know will make you more satisfied and happy in the long run! God is so good!
and as for the dinner conversation! soooo funny! omg, dying over here! :)
Love the dinner conversation! I love that children just speak their mind <3
Congratulations on the job offers! You're right, GOD IS GOOD! And your family sounds like so much fun! Great convo :)
congrats congrats congrats!!! that is a hard choice. for me, nothing is worse than getting up 5 days a week and going into a job where im not satisfied, stimulated, and happy
I would go with the job that has more satisfaction. Going to a job you don't love will grow old quickly.
Also, your dinner conversations sound like my house. My kids crack me up with their randomness.
Congrats on the job offer.
I see you're from Florida. That's where I grew up, and I miss it dreadfully :(
(although, we could never be friends. Seminoles over here ;) )
2 job offers that is such a blessing. You go girl.
