Prayers Needed Again

Hello Friends!

Remember that job I applied for a couple of weeks ago?

Well, I got the call today that I was selected to undergo an interview tomorrow afternoon.

And guess what?

It's a board interview in front of the Base CO and Base XO along with several others...
I'm completely in awe that this is happening! 

Talk about nerves... :-/

Please pray that I do an awesome job

during the interview process.

This position is something that I've been looking for 

and I know that given the opportunity

I'd rock at it. 

So... that is what's going on in Bahrain.

What's going on with y'all? :-)

Guess Who's Happy?

This girl is!!!!

 Y'all I've found my joy!

Here in Bahrain,

on this very day

I realized that

hey... life isn't all bad.

I am okay.

Whoa, I'm happy.

At peace even.

It only took 4 months, 

a bunch of days, 

some hours, 

a few minutes, 

dashed with some seconds

but it happened.

 I found my joy!

Thank you for riding this out with me

for the prayers

they were heard.

I'm the happiest I've been in years. 

Who would have knew that 

I would have to travel

around the world

to find

me.

I like this woman I'm becoming

I hope you guys will like her too.

She's pretty awesome. 

;-)

What have I been up to?

Right here...

Still on Hell Island.

Having Migraines.

Nursing Mr. Sergeant back to tip-top shape. (He's better!)

Making more enemies. (This one will have its on post in due time)

Also making friends! :-D (Hooray!)

Continuing my education.

Working with super cool teenagers. (May have found a calling/I kid, I kid)

Loving my life, even though it's crazy as hell right now.

Catching up on reading blogs. 

Missing writing.

Prayer Requests

Hey Y'all!

This is a request.

The Sergeant Family 

has/have so many things going on

that it's overwhelming...

I feel burnt out

but now 

burnt down.

With that said,

will you please pray for us...

Mr. Sergeant is having surgery on Tuesday

pray that it goes well.

Pray for the doctors that will be operating

as well as for the nurses who will be assisting. 

I applied for a job that 

I know I can do extremely well, 

I'm qualified for

and 

I need it. 

Pray that I get it. If that's where God wants me.

Pray for The Artist & The Athlete 

as they are both

literally sick

and 

homesick for Florida, 

their Yia Yia

Pop Pop

their cousins

and their friends.

Pray that our life here in Bahrain

takes an upturn

and 

that while our problems may not decrease

that our strength and faith will increase.

I'm clinging to God 

holding on to what I believe

and 

praying that what I do

the decisions I make

and  the actions I take 

are the right ones.

The ones that God 

has chosen for me. 

Pray that my eyes be opened to 

all the beauty and wonder

that this place has to offer.

 in need of some prayer

The Undeniable Funk

As most of you know I took a job here on Hell Island

and I thought it was going to be fun...

But alas, my thoughts were just that..

In actuality it was drama filled

and just plain terrible.

I couldn't sleep at night even after

taking sleeping pills

becasue I was so stressed

and the anxiety was just too much.

So today... I quit.

No more of anything that will cause me sleepless nights

and stressing me out to the point where even Mr. Sergeant says to tell it goodbye.

Let's hope this funk is over

and I can move on...

Even though I am still twitching at this very moment. LOL
