Life Happening...

Hi Everybody,

I'm busy.

I've volunteered for

everything I can think of

and

life is happening.

In other news I can't wait to share my secret with you.

Keeping the faith...

This is what I'm trying to do...

This is what I am going to do.

No matter what comes my way.

No matter what doors may close

No matter how badly 

during every day that I have to fight the urge to 

FLEE.

I will have faith 

and know that

I am here

in this place

for a reason.

I am choosing faith.

In my God.

In myself.

In others.

I will live with an open mind

an open heart

and 

open to this world that is

and the worlds that are to come.

Life is good.

No matter what

I can be thankful.

I choose to be 

thankful.

 

Because God is bigger than 

anything I will ever 

go through in this life.

Even in the storms

In the sunshine

In whatever season 

I face.

Gratitude will be on my song.

Playing with my emotions.

So the position I had a fit over...

The person they chose

declined the offer...

SHE DECLINED THE OFFER.

So...

What happened next should have been a gimmie right?

Notsomuch.

Instead of calling me

and

begging

asking me if I want the position.

They opened it back up.

YES.

OMG!

WTEffingF.

So now...

I have to wait...

Did I mention I'm impatient?

Extremely impatient!

A 2-WHOLE-WEEKS

So everybody and they mama can apply for

MY JOB!

Yes. I said it.

It should have been mine...

ALL MINE!

(in my Veruca Salt voice)

I WANT IT NOW!

Guess what though...

God said...

Chile! Calm yoself down right NOW.

I've got this.

You just cool it.

I know

He's in control y'all.

I'm gonna trust Him.

but

I don't have to like it.

I know...

I do.

Whatevs.

(pouting)

GIVE ME A JOB!

Houston, we have a first-grader!

Here in Bahrain today 

is the 

first day of school! 

The Artist was a ball of excitement

I was a big ball of mess

Either way it was awesome

to get my girl 

off to her very first day 

of 

First Grade!

I honestly cannot believe

how fast the time has flown.

I cannot believe that I'm

mom to a first-grader.

Mr. S and I took her to school 

and 

we both

cried.

Like little babies.

Although he'd never admit it.

LOL

Does it get any easier as they get older?

I was sure that 

I was not going to be as big of a mess

as kindergarten...

but alas...

I was worse. LOL

Tell me it gets easier to send them off...

I just pray that she is having an

 amazing time at school

and making

lots of new friends.
