The Sergeant House
has grown by one member
although
she doesn't have a
name yet,
we absolutely
love her to pieces.
Join me in welcoming
Baby Girl Sergeant
Our cutie pie Dalmatian little girl.
The story as to how we got her is pretty funny.
A few weeks ago
a friend of mine
mentioned something to
me about
this
"Pet Farm"
on
"Hell Island"
that was
awesome.
I was skeptical at first,
of course...
This island is seriously
PETA's worst nightmare
come true
when it comes to animals.
But I digress.
Anywho...
Mr. Sergeant took Jameson
out for his morning walk
and
met someone in our building that had a
dalmatian puppy.
He promptly came upstairs and informed
me that we were going to the "Pet Farm"
and that was that.
I laughed and said alright...
from there
we got ready,
and
headed to the P.F.
We stopped at a place around the corner from said Pet Farm
named Pets Shop.
Yes, spelled like that.
We asked about the puppies
and they looked at us
like we had grew another head.
We mentioned Pet Farm
and then
they knew what we were talking about.
Funny how communication in a foreign country works.
We finally make it to the place
and
start looking around.
I immediately notice the pair of ostriches in the back.
These folks had ostriches y'all!
Not only that,
but they had a pair of peacocks,
and
794273924639267382473928 types of birds
that talk to you.
That part was hilarious.
There was one bird that "meowed" at you.
So,
we finally make it into
the puppy room
and my jaw drops
because to my left
I see 4 of the most adorable puppies
that I have ever seen since Jameson of course. (yes, I'm a bit partial.)
Each one completely spotted from head to toe,
with the cutest wagging tails ever.
It didn't stop with those pups though.
As we went further into the space
we found beautiful blue eyed huskies
and some very vocal pugs.
There were cats, rats, rabbits, turtles, and gerbils as well.
I wanted to take them all home,
but alas,
I don't think our property manager would have
been as understanding and open-hearted as me.
We played with several pups,
but one little lady in particular kept
coming back to our attention
and I'm glad she did.
We thought, discussed, added, and all that other jazz that you do
before making a puppy purchase
and
ta-da
she found herself a family.
We were thankful that the facility had a full grooming shop and a pet supply store on property.
We picked out our necessities, left her to get all cleaned up, had lunch, picked her up, and brought her
home to meet her big brother Jameson.
He is just as smitten with her as we are and we all couldn't be more thrilled. :-)
Now, to come up with a name...
:-/
Wish us luck!
