Good Afternoon Y'all!
It's 3:09 PM here in the Mid East
and I'm going to
type fast since I have to pick J (formerly known as the Artist)
up from cheer/tumble practice.
First things first...

I needed a change

came up with.
She works fast too.
Now,
on to the meat of this post.
Y'all know the hokey-pokey right?
Sure.
We've all done it...
Or so I thought...
Today A and I went to a
playschool group
and
aforementioned song/dance was done.
I was surprised to find that
there were moms there
who didn't know
or
had even heard of
the hokey pokey.
Craziness.
It was in this time
that I took a step back
to be present fully
and
appreciate the diversity
surrounding my child and I.
It was
in that time
that I realized
how special
our being here really is.
I've written countless hate post about this place.
We all know I have.
I would like to take those all back
as of now.
Today.
I vow to experience
this place.
The fullness,
the beauty,
the rare opportunity
that the Air Force is
affording for my family.
I'm thankful.
I'm happy.
I am...
and on that note.
I'm off to fully experience the rest of the day.
I hope you can fully experience yours.

Wonderful website! I am new to this site and by all the support and optimistic words you offer and those from other AF Ladies, it makes me feel more at ease with the life me and my husband are about to begin. :o)
