The Hokey Pokey and other things

Good Afternoon Y'all!

It's 3:09  PM here in the Mid East

and I'm going to

type fast since I have to pick J (formerly known as the Artist)

up from cheer/tumble practice.

We've all done it...

Or so I thought...

Today A and I went to a 

playschool group

and 

aforementioned song/dance was done.

I was surprised to find that 

there were moms there

who didn't know

or 

had even heard of 

the hokey pokey.

Craziness.

It was in this time

that I took a step back

to be present fully 

and 

appreciate the diversity 

surrounding my child and I.

It was 

in that time

that I realized

how special

our being  here really is.

I've written countless hate post about this place.

We all know I have.

I would like to take those all back

as of now.

Today. 

I vow to experience

this place.

The fullness, 

the beauty,

the rare opportunity 

that the Air Force is 

affording for my family.

I'm thankful.

I'm happy.

I am...

and on that note.

I'm off to fully experience the rest of the day.

I hope you can fully experience yours.

Hey Y'all! 

Man, 

I've totally been neglecting this thing. 

I'm sorry.

Really though,

nothing to crazy has been going on

except...

I quit my job.

Pulled A (formerly known as the Athlete)

out of preschool

and now I stay at home with him. 

It's been an adjustment.

It's been a while since it was just me and him.

He misses school.

I know he does, 

but 

he's not learning anything.

He was bored 

and

knew everything that they 

said they were teaching.

It's okay.

He'll get over it

and 

so will I.

Without us killing one another.

of this I'm sure. :-)

tonight and I've got to make sure I have everything.

A and Daddy unearthing a dinosaur fossil. 

They had a blast. 

I had a lot of clean-up,

nonetheless

it was awesome. 

I love these two guys.
They seriously make my heart happy.
