My neurologist told me

I almost punched that dude in the face.

This weekend

marked

the one year

anniversary

my father's

untimely

exit of this world.

How does one celebrate

a death?

I can tell you now that

I was far from

a celebratory mood.

I wasn't all teary

and crap either...

I just was.

I was in pain,

I was sad,

I was relieved that he doesn't have to suffer anymore.

I was humbled

As of the last few weeks not so much.

Okay, so everyone knows that my wonderful little Athlete

turned 4 last year...

With that birthday

came the dawning of something else new as well...

It's called tantrums.

Now as much as

I like to post

that my children

are

~~perfect~~

well-behaved,

as of late

I've been

proven wrong

time and time

again

by said

wonderful little athlete.

I'm at a loss y'all.

With the Artist, we didn't have these problems.

She is

well-mannered

well-behaved

well-dressed

and

well...

Just super freaking awesome.

I love that girl.

I love my little boy as well,

I thank God for him

all day, every day

don't get me wrong...

But my goodness

what do I do about these tantrums?

I could go old school like

my mama and grand-mama's.

Yep.

We all know what that means...

Anyway,

I can't bring myself to do that.

I remember how it felt

and

how it made me feel

and

I just won't be doing that to my kids

or uh kid.

Time-outs

don't seem to work

for him.

He gets up

and/or

screams louder

and said tantrums are

subject to happen

anywhere.

in front of anybody

He is an equal-opportunity tantrum thrower.

His screams

break my heart

into like a million tiny pieces.

They are painful to hear.

I mean down-right awful!

I don't give in...

my goodness.

How can I keep doing this?

He's wearing me down with every single scream.

I've read so much that I don't want to see another

behavioral book or website.

I want advice. I need help

from real mama's, mom's, mommy's, and Jan

One would like to think that the year would

have gone through a full

week before petty drama ensued.

Nope.

Notsomuch.

I was privy to an open facebook page...

How I love when that happens.

Especially when said person

is talking about me.

The funny thing is...

I considered this person

to be a really good person.

I thought of them as a friend.

I guess they did not regard me as much.

Usually this type of stuff doesn't bother me too terribly much.

I don't mind being the odd girl out.

I'm me... I won't change that for anyone.

What you see; is what you get.

Yadda Yadda Yadda.

Oh... where was I?

Yes...

Why I got bothered by her posting about me...

It's because of her accusations regarding me.

How dare this person...

Whom I've only know for a few months

alcoholic and drug addict.

She even went so far as to say I need an intervention.

Who says that?

About a person they don't truly know

WTF.

I'm confused.

Good Grief! It’s the first day of 2012!

Wow!

2011 was a heck of a year! I’m pretty impressed. We made it!

Now, what to do in 2012 that will make this year

20-times better than 2011?

I’ve got a few ideas.

But first an ode to ,

2011

I learned who God is

I learned who I am

How much I can take

And

What love truly means

I’ve learned to be thankful for the small and the big stuff.

I said goodbye to my father.

I said goodbye to America in exchange for the foreign.

I’ve mastered driving in a place where every day it’s like drunken Nascar.

I’ve become a mom to many angels.

I lost a lot, I gained even more.

I learned what it is to be present. Happy in the moment you’re in

I’ve learned to enjoy life

And not

Sweat the small stuff.

I’ve learned that I’m worth it.

In 2012

I hope to learn

I'm going to let you in on a little secret of mine...

I’ve never really liked New Year’s resolutions.

Nope... not at all.

To me they have always seemed like

Promises to be broken by March…

If you’re lucky.

January 2^nd or 3^rd if you’re not.

What’s interesting is that even though I didn’t like them I still made them.

And of course broke them as well.

So this year I’m going to do something a tad bit different.

I’m going to set some goals.

I’m going to finish what I start.

Mama didn’t raise a quitter.

No no no.

What I like about goals is this…

Goals are attainable.

Goals are made to be reached and surpassed.

Goals are the ~~shit~~ um… yeah. Moving on.

As I sit here with a pretty crystal flute of some very chilled Moet

I ponder over what I want to accomplish in 2012…

I know one thing.

I want to lose weight. I know; trust me I know…

That it’s such a cliché thing to say…

But the truth of the matter is I am not healthy.

I can’t let myself get worse. I’m morbidly obese. I’m 28.

Wife of an amazing man and mom of 2 of the most kick arse children on this planet.

I want to stick around for them; to be there during their childhood, adolescences, and adulthood.

I want to grow old with my husband, loving him for many, many, many, years to come…

I can’t do that if I’m not healthy;

if I’m not in good shape both mentally and definitely physically.

So goal number 1 is this:

Lose 50lbs in the next 6 months. Keep it off for the rest of the year.

Goal number 2:

Travel to 5 foreign countries outside of the Middle East.

We’re in the perfect position to do just that and I am going to make it happen.

Goal number 3:

Volunteer more this year.

I want to get out and help make this place better than it was when we arrived.

I love helping others and I can’t wait to get started on this goal.

Goal number 4:

Is a secret and once it is attained I’ll tell you all about it. J

So… Those are my goals for 2012.

I’m looking forward to getting started.

I’m looking forward to you cheering me on

Can you believe it's December already?!

I know! Me either...

But, I'm kind of glad it is...

I love December.

I love November too.

Although, it's just something about December that

My body sucks.

I don't know what's wrong with me

why this keeps happening.

I debated on whether or not to post this.

But this is my blog

and you all know me

I figured why not...

Why is it

that I wait until I'm in my second tri

to say anything about a baby.

Then I lose that baby.

I keep losing babies.

It sucks.

It hurts.

It's not fair.

I know, I know.

I've got 2 beautiful children already and I should be

satisfied with them.

Count my blessing.

Trust me I am and I do.

It's just that when

the love of your life

suggests

one more child

because

of whatever the reason may be

then you want to give it to him.

I want to give him another child

I want us to have 3 children.

I want one more little set of feet running around our home.

Making messes, giving kisses, learning, and being a part of our family.

I want to grow a life within me and love that life completely and unconditionally.

But my body says no.

It says fuck you and your wants.

I've never had trouble like this in my life.

I've always read about others.

I've always mourned for others.

Now I'm mourning for me.

For the babies that I've lost.

I wonder why.

I wonder WHY?!

In the spirit of giving thanks,

I'm thankful for My Artist & My Athlete

I'm thankful that God blessed me with them,

but curious as to why I can't have another.

So during this holiday,

I will certainly count my blessings

and

I well definitely mourn my loss.

Okay, so not really a while...

but definitely over a week.

It's not that I can't keep up with this thing...

It's that I just don't know what to write.

I don't have anything exciting happening... well not yet anyway.

While I can't say which job I've chosen just yet

I can say that I'm pretty excited for the future.

I can't wait to get to know my new boss

and

of course

coworkers.

I'm trying to get everything in order

for when I do start working

the house will work

like clockwork..

Or so a girl can dream... Right?

One thing that has me

all emotional these days

is the thought that we've been here

over 9 months...

We've been here a pregnancy!

Where has the time gone?

I feel like I haven't done enough

time speeding by

I won't have enough time to do it all...

I'm sure when a few of the bad apples leave the island

it won't be so play-play anymore

and I'm definitely looking forward to that...

Some Good News & A Dinner Conversation

When they say good things come to those who wait

They surely mean it!

Not only did I get a job offer

and

not for the one I thought I wanted

Keyword here is thought

God is GOOD y'all!

Seriously GOOD!

I got 2 JOB OFFERS!!!!!!

Trusting God, Prayer

Being patient... Don't laugh

and

putting myself out there

i.e. networking my tail off

has paid off tremendously!

Now my trouble is

which position to choose.

Both have their perks

One pays more,

The other would probably give me the most satisfaction

but pays substantially less.

What would you do?

Work hard and get paid more

Work less and have more job satisfaction?

Help!

Now on to the fun.

Here is a sneak peek into

dinner convo

at the Sergeant House.

So we have spaghetti last night

and

knowing how messy both of my kids are

with spaghetti

I make them

take off their shirts

(The were still in school clothes)

Mr. Sergeant decides to join them

and take his shirt off too.

I did not.

(just in case you were wondering)

Anywho... Dinner is underway and we're eating...

The Artist - Daddy, um... why is your shirt off

Daddy - Because both you and the athlete aren't wearing shirts

The Artist - Daddy, you can put your shirt back on anytime now...

Me - laughing at this exchange of words

Daddy - Why is that Artist?

Artist - Because you have hairy nipples and the hair might get in your food. Plus it's really gross looking.

Me - Dying laughing now!

Daddy - (puts shirt back on) Wow... shakes his head and continues to eat.

Me - Still laughing.

I can't believe he's turning 4.

It's like you know it's coming

That was quite the experience.

Everyone would be chatting and laughing

I showed up at their table.

I was the butt of all their jokes.

It kind of mad me sad.

But then I realized that

those women

don't even know me.

They haven't had a conversation with me

and more than likely never will

while I'm on this island.

I guess I'll be that girl.

It doesn't bother me anymore.

I've made a few friends that

are pretty awesome.

I don't need to roll with the popular crowd.

I'm me.

Why does that last bit of this post seem like high school...

I have tried to write this post many times...

Which is why there was no post yesterday...

I was thinking about

how to respond

what that new wife posted on

the

"family"

group page.

In the end

decided that

even though I was slightly

~~pissed~~ upset

that she

deserved the

benefit of the

doubt.

I chalk her statements up

to her being a new

military spouse

and

also

being new

Bahrain

and not

knowing how things

work around here.

Yes, as with all bases there is a slight

separation between O'spouses & E'spouses

but this island is

extremely

too small

for that kind of elitism.

For one there are not many families here

so if you were to alienate

yourself just because of your

spouse's rank

you'd definitely be missing out

possibly meeting

some

pretty amazing people.

I know my posts about being in

Bahrain have not

always been sunny.

It's still not always sunny.

But it's home.

It's where my husband is

and where we are

for this season in life.

I truly hoped that a more seasoned

O'spouse

has taken this little bird

under her wing

and

explained a thing or two

about being

military spouse

stuck on a

small island

with

not only O'spouses.

Side note:

I did notice

yesterday at the

NEX

there was a lot of

tension

in the air.

I hope it fades out

Sorry to anyone that my husband and I have offended with our house warming/ carpet

throw party invite. We came from a Command where there is a clear and strict defined line about officers and enlisted getting together outside of work in NON Command approved functions. Since it was being thrown at our private residence and it was not a Command approved event we were following the Navy guidelines between officer and enlisted. We just got to Bahrain and are trying to meet new families through our event. I understand that this is a small base but however Navy rules on officer and enlisted relationships don’t change from base to base, there should still be that clear line and if that line isn't being set we ALL (officers and enlisted) need to take a step back and follow the guidelines that have been passed down to us. My husband was enlisted for over 9 years and so he has been on both sides of the boat. Officers and enlisted not gathering outside of Command approved functions is nothing new to the Navy so this should not be a shock to anyone. Sorry to anyone who took it personal, it was not our intention to offend anyone, its not our rules it’s the rules set by our past and current President, Secretary of Defense, CNO, Admirals, Generals, etc... We hope that you will understand. We still hope that we can meet new families at our event.

So... Yeah. This is the kind of stuff

we are dealing with.

first day of school!

Unfortunately, it isn't you.

Yep. I heard those words yesterday.

Not exactly a great start to the week.

I didn't get the job I really truly wanted

but you know what?

My friend did!

And, believe or not

I am stoked for her.

She's going to do great!

Am I bummed?

I was.

I came home

and

had a 3-year old's

type of tantrum.

I yelled at God. I screamed why?

I cried. I screamed. And I cried some more.

I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Luckily that didn't last too terribly long.

Ten minutes at best.

I'm just glad I was home alone; with no one to witness

my shananigans.

Looking back at the situation of screaming & crying

is actually quite comical.

God was probably laughing the whole entire time...

because he already knew what was coming afterwards.

You know what I did after that?

I picked myself up

I started looking for

other positions.

I thanked God for all the things that I have in life already.

For all the blessings I've received already.

And for the ones that are coming.

I apologized too.

I should not have

behaved in such a manner.

I like to believe that at my apology

He smiled.

He probably just shrugged.

He knows me.

He loves me.

I'm his child.

So, today after I finish typing this

I'm going to apply for another job.

I'm praying that though God has closed a door,

that He's opened a window

and

His grace

and

His mercy

and

blessings

will pour through.

The Act of Letting Go...

Today I had to say goodbye to a couple of my teens.

It was not pleasant.

You know, I thought that by working with the older kids(teens)

that I wouldn't become attached as I would with say preschoolers or toddlers.

But as with a lot of things that I think about I was wrong.

I got attached. It's very unfortunate.

As I sit here in tears and praying for a safe return

to where they are going.

I'm forced to think about things.

Like should I have put my two-week notice in...

I know the answer to that...

It's something that I'll have to accept.

I will also accept that my time with the teens

no matter how brief

was time well spent.

It was where I needed to be

to get to where

I am headed.

My teens

have taught me much.

Much more than I thought I'd learn from a

bunch of

adolescents

girls and boys

but

for that I am grateful.

So with this,

I let them go.

I will always pray for my teens.

That no matter where they are in the world

they remember the times they had

in Bahrain, the bonds created,

and the differences they

made in each others lives.

Especially mine.

Well, I got the call today that I was selected to undergo an interview tomorrow afternoon.

It's a board interview in front of the Base CO and Base XO along with several others...
I'm completely in awe that this is happening!

Please pray that I do an awesome job

during the interview process.

This position is something that I've been looking for

and I know that given the opportunity

I'd rock at it.

As most of you know I took a job here on Hell Island

and I thought it was going to be fun...

But alas, my thoughts were just that..

In actuality it was drama filled

and just plain terrible.

I couldn't sleep at night even after

taking sleeping pills

becasue I was so stressed

and the anxiety was just too much.

So today... I quit.

No more of anything that will cause me sleepless nights

and stressing me out to the point where even Mr. Sergeant says to tell it goodbye.

Let's hope this funk is over

and I can move on...

Feeling Alright

Okay, so yesterday was not a good day for the Sergeant Fam,

but I can say that today was a lot better.

Mr. Sergeant is back to himself

and

I'm not as angry as I was yesterday.

I'm still a little annoyed, but what can you do.

It comes with the territory of living in the Middle East.

Speaking of... in a few days we'll have passed the 4 month mark

leaving 20 more to go. Can you tell I'm ready to go home?

We're heading back to the states for a visit soon

and I can not wait.

Those of you who have Target, Chick-Fil-A, and even though it's not my fave

it would still be nice to go people watch in Wal-Mart.

Don't take those spots for granted peoples. Seriously... Don't.

We get to move!!!!

After a heated meeting with our Landlord, Director of Housing, Mr. S, and I

everything was all sorted out.

The farthest I've ran in the past couple of weeks at once was 3 miles.

That's good seeing as how we started from 0 miles.

My fastest pace was in the 8 minute range which is cool.

However, I am going to focus more on distance than speed.

As much as I'd like to win this half-marathon, I'd like it better to get through without dying. LOL

I'm super sensitive to others and what they may be going through,

Mr. Sergeant doesn't get it.

My everyone needs a friend

I have to save the world

mentality.

Truthfully I've never got it.

I sometimes wish I could turn it off.

Not feel so much,

I've gotten hurt by people because of it.

But that's neither here nor there.

See how random this post turned out to be?

Anyway, I guess I'm just trying to say I love reading

the real of bloggers lives.

I know I've said this before,

but I'm still in awe of how blogging connects us.

Here I am halfway around the world

and yet

I have friends that I talk to all the time everywhere.

I read their blogs, see them on twitter, and facebook

We talk, we laugh, we cry together and we share life.

Granted it's via the internet, but I'll take it.

I don't feel alone. I am never alone in my fears, my pain, my joy, my struggles.

It's amazing when you really sit and think about it.

Okay, well I'll end my random rant.

Point is... I enjoy sharing life with you guys. I thank you for sharing your lives with me too. :-)

In Training and In Treatment...

This week I've been in training for the new job.

I have a feeling I'm going to love it.

Also

I went to a psychiatrist

and

I think it helped.

I will continue going to him

for a few more weeks

and

hopefully I'll be settled

and

satisfied with things.

I've also started on an

anti-depressant.

I wasn't so keen on the idea

but

after a lot of tears,

discussion,

and shaking of heads

the decision had been made.

It has been about

a week

and a

half

and

I can tell a difference.

So can Mr. Sergeant.

I'm working on me.

I'm in training for the job

and

I'm in training for this life.

Getting a little better day by day.

Sorry for being a bad blogger and tweeter.

I promise that once this training is over

and I'm on a regular schedule

I'll be back

in the

swing of things.

So today at the NEX I picked up this book

then read the beginning of it.

The title intrigued me

but not that I'm reading it

I'm very curious to get to the rest of it.

The gist is this:

The way we eat is inseparable from our core beliefs about being alive.

What we think about love, fear anger, the meaning of life and God

can all be figured out by breaking down what we eat, why we eat, when we eat, how we eat.

What do you think?

Just from the first part of the book

I kind of think she's on to something.

We'll see how I feel after I finish reading it.

So, I've been invited to a few events here.

I'm reluctant to go,

if I don't make at least one friend on this island

I will go crazy.

I've found a part-time position.

I am very excited about it.

I just want to go home.

I keep saying this to myself.

Although I have been trying to be happier.

I know this is a process

and

I will not feel like screaming from

the rooftops

how much I love this place

tomorrow

or today

for that matter.

The days go by and

I feel like they are wasted.

Deep down inside I know they aren't.

I spend quality time with my son.

I clean, I cook, I read.

I don't do anything outside

because

well

it's too hot.

Really

I feel empty.

Vacant.

Like my body is here.

I'm going through the motions.

But my soul is gone.

I have no feeling.

It's at night when all is quiet

that I feel everything.

The loneliness, the longing,

of what I'm longing for

I can't be too sure.

I think it's me.

I miss me.

I get upset.

Mr. Sergeant and I are suffering.

I love him.

I do.

He wants to help.

He doesn't know how.

I don't ask him to help.

I ask him to leave me alone.

I push him away.

The very last thing that

I should be doing.

And here I am doing it.

I am.

During the day it's the Athlete and I

We tend to have fun just us.

But I feel like he's missing out.

He doesn't have friends.

The only interaction he has

during his swim lessons on Tuesdays.

This past Tuesday he screamed not to leave.

We stayed an extra hour past the class and

he still screamed not to go.

He screamed he wanted to go back to FL.

That hurt. Really bad.

I want to go back to FL too.

We can't.

This is our life now.

Here in this place.

I'm not helping him adjust because I'm not adjusting.

I feel like I'm screwing everything up.

I feel like I'm failing as a mom

that brings me a pain that I can't even begin to describe.

He is here with me all day.

Him and I.

I and Him.

He has no friends.

Neither do I.

What do we do?

What do I do?

I've tried making friends with

those spouses that have kids here.

My son and I

we're enlisted

We're not good enough.

I honestly don't care about them not liking me.

But to reject my son.

My sweet boy.

With the kindest, biggest heart.

Who loves everyone

and

just wants to be friends.

To play.

That's not right.

It makes me angry.

This has me very upset.

I'm crying now.

I don't understand what's happening.

What this is I'm going through.

I've never gone through this before...

I'm tough.

I've been through so many things.

Bad things.

And now here I am...

Breaking.

This... being here is breaking me...

The question is am I going to let it?

Am I strong enough to break-free of this breakage?

I'd like to think so...

I just don't know how.

I don't know what to do...

More than anything I want to write a happy post right now.

venture to the NEX

and

grocery shop.

We learned

not to

ever do that again.

We spent almost $130

on four bags of groceries

and I still have to get stuff

from other grocery stores.

:-/

Next time you buy ground beef

be thankful it's not this per pound.

Yes...

That says $7.79 for a pound of

ground beef

Heaven forbid you need cherries... :-/

$9 a pound?

I think I'll be sticking to

shopping at the

grocery stores

in the local economy.

Unless of course,

there are no cherries or beef.

Military Monday ~ The Dream-Sheet

Hi There!

It's Monday again,

and

I thought I'd do a post about

well.... Military.

Honestly,

I don't know if this is

all about military.

However,

I've been thinking about something lately.

Where are we going next?

I know there is never a sure fire way to

pick where you end up.

It'd be nice, but that would be too much like right.

So...

You just go where they send you.

Which is fine somewhat. lol

I'm getting used to this place slowly.

I may or may not be x'ing

the days off on a calender...

but that's neither

here nor there.

Today, Mr. Sergeant and I

updated his dream-sheet.

For my Non-Military

peoples

a dream-sheet is what it sounds like.

A wish list of places to go.

I'm nervous about it.

Of course we picked Florida.

(practically every base in FL) LOL

That's where we're the most happiest at in this world.

However, we picked a few other places

that are unknown to us both.

We've never visited,

no family or friends...

It'd be like here.

Just us,

the kids,

and

our military life.

That's when I got scared.

The unknown again?

I don't know if I can handle

another unknown.

So for now,

my fingers are crossed for Florida again.

before nap-time today.

Me: Alright Beau; it's about that time

T.Athlete: What time is it Mum Mum (in his sweetest baby voice)

Me: It's nap-time Babe

T.Athlete: I can't take a nap today

Me: Why not?

T.Ath: Daddy said I not have too.

Me: He did, well let's call him.

T.Athlete: No Mum Mum. No call him. Daddy busy at werk righ now.

Me: How do you know?

T.Athlete: He told me. He is BUSY. NO CALL DADDY MUM MUM! Pweety Peas Mum Mum!

Me: Okay, I won't call Daddy, but you have to lay down now.

T.Athlete: Mum Mum, I can't take a nap now. I have to party.

(This convo has gotten intriguing)

Me: ?! Excuse me?

T.Athlete: I have to party Mum, like a rockster (Rock-star)

I'm a rockstar MumMum.

Me: Oh really. Who said that?

T.Athlete: Sissy, and Sissy said rocksters don't take naps they party.

Me: Boy, have a good nap.

I'm off to call daddy and tell him we have rocksters

and negotiating toddlers living in our home. I'm sure he'll be impressed.

So that's it ladies and gents. It's official. My son is a rockster.

Life should only get more interesting from here. LOL

I really want to blog,

Really I do.

I want to write about the

mundane things of

my life here in Bahrain.

I want to write about

meanings of life

that I am

finding

here.

But alas,

there are none such things

going on.

As of late I have

completely

and I mean

COMPLETELY

hated being here

with

every

inch

of my being.

There is nothing profound about that.

Each day I cry. I stress. I get angry.

I'm here,

my friends

and

my family

are

in Florida

having a jolly ole time

and

miserable.

I wasn't going to write this.

I don't like writing

and

being negative.

I'm typically a happy person.

I find any reason to make laugh.

I love to have a good time

doing whatever.

I usually can take life as it comes.

This place

where I am

is foreign.

I'm in a foreign country

with foreign people,

who also think

I'm foreign.

I've never felt more lost

more confused

have questioned

any

decision

in my

life

than now.

I'm questioning myself.

Am I strong enough for this?

Is this where I am supposed to be?

Do I have what it takes to continue to be Mrs. Sergeant?

What the fuck was I thinking moving to Bahrain?

Sorry about the last one,

but it's a question

I have asked myself

every. single. day.

I feel like a clown.

I smile to get through the day.

Not to let my children see me upset.

Depressed.

Lonely.

Desperate for something.

Anything

A friend.

Oh and before you ask

"Why aren't I making friends with other wives"?

I'll tell you.

Here in Bahrain the lines between

Officer Wife and Enlisted Wife

are very clearly drawn and you do not

cross them.

They don't let you.

I've tried.

So.

Where does that leave me?

Here.

Writing this.

In tears

because

I am

very

lonely.

So VERY homesick.

I'm praying this passes.

I'm praying that I have what it takes

adapt.

To learn to love where I am

whatever moment I'm in.

be content.

It's already May?!

Where has 2011 gone?

It seems like just yesterday

I was celebrating New Years

Now it's May?!

There are a many cool things happening this month.

Military Spouse Appreciation

Mother's Day

Cinco De Mayo

other stuff...

Over here in this country

Today was Labour Day

I had no idea

and

I tried to take

The Artist

to school.

Um...

Yeah... notsomuch.

LOL

There was no school.

I looked like an

~~idiot~~

an uninformed

mother.

That shan't be happening again.

This weekend we

Bought me a car that is automatic. ;-P

Hung out by the pool

Destroyed the box YiaYia sent us

Found a cupcake shop walking distance from our house!

(I'm too happy about this.)lol

Went shopping for fruits and veggies at the Souq

Dil, our housekeeper/nanny showed the kids how to pick

the best fruit and vegetables. Her aunt Demmi went with us

to show us which vendors were good and which ones weren't so good.

It was a great time and we all enjoyed ourselves very much.

During our next visit to the souq

we'll venture into the meat/fish area.

Then after that the fabric souq

(I'm looking forward to this the most!)

Then the gold souq.

It's been 4 years

blood, sweat, and tears.

But

the

end

result

is been totally worth it all!

As of last night

Mr. Sergeant and I

became

DEBT FREE!!!!

That was 4 years + of

no credit cards

no shopping sprees

and

saving, saving, saving.

We have paid off everything.

No Car Loan

No Home Loan

No CREDIT CARD BILLS

No Student Loans

and

feels

spectacular!

We have an emergency fund

and

a savings that looks like

its

supposed to.

Beautiful.

LOL

If you're working on

getting rid of your debt

and

you ever need a swift kick

to get it back in gear

I'm your girl.

Trust me when I say

I know how much

not spending sucks

not having a credit card

when you think you

need one

sucks.

But let me tell you

all

those

sucky

moments

ARE

WORTH

IT!

Keep it up

keep going!
